About
Why we’re here
Our purpose
We support projects with a practical purpose, where fundraising and giving can turn into something people can see and use.
Our current work ranges from an education appeal in Cameroon to a completed community health project in Harrogate and a personal fundraising challenge on the streets of London.
Supporting communities near and far
We are not limited to one country or one cause. Some projects are overseas; others are in our own community.
What they share is a clear need and a clear explanation of what support is for.
Our founder
Founded by Jamie Pidgley
Jamie Pidgley established the Foundation to bring people together around causes worth supporting.
As well as leading the Foundation, Jamie takes part in fundraising himself — his next challenge is the London Marathon.

May 2024
The first Coupe de Zap charity football tournament raised more than £1,500.
October 2024
A member of the team ran the Budapest Marathon to raise money for the Foundation.
May 2025
Coupe de Zap returned and raised approximately £1,100 for the Cameroon appeal.
The JP Foundation is not currently registered with the Charity Commission.
